1. I started the day off working in the yard. I trimmed 15 boxwoods but ran out of gas so will have to finish another day. They all made it through the winter this year (so far).
The shears are rather dull so it's harder on my back than it should be but it's starting to look good in my part of the neighborhood. I still have allergies that keep my eyes watering constantly. Fozzie loves the good weather (66 degrees today) and goes out more often than normal to chase robins.
2. I called Mom and Dad to see what is up in Wyoming. Linda is a little better, Debi gets out to their antique store once in a while, Dad has been working in the yard and walks for exercise, they plan on planting tomatoes on our lot this summer, Greg is looking better than he has in a long time, Mom is using a cane and doesn't get around much any more but they will go to the temple and work next week.
3. I listened to talks from conference that I missed on Saturday morning. They were inspiring and motivating. I love feeling hopeful and glad to be living at this particular time in the world. There is evil and hatred all around but there is also love, forgiveness and the knowledge that God is always there so we are never alone.
4. I had Slim Fast and toast for dinner since Wayne wasn't here to cook for me.
5. I finished my book "The Diva Takes the Cake". It is a fluffy mystery but well written and kept me guessing whodunit. I don't know what I would do without books. I love to read so much.
