1.  I worked in the yard again and finished clipping the box woods.  It is such a bog job but once it is done in the spring, it's not that hard the rest of the year.  The hard part was cleaning up the clippings.  I raked as may as I could and then used my left blower on the vacuum setting to suck up as many clippings as I could.  Now we can lay down the mulch and have it look good again for the summer.
2.  I had a mini miracle happen today.  I  lost my $40 a few days ago and was heart sick.  When I was clipping the box woods today, I decided I needed a break.  Before I went in the house, I just placed the shears into the garbage can inside the garage for some reason instead of putting them in the back yard.  When I put them in the garbage can, it tipped over a drink cup that was in there.  I saw a green color and checked what had fallen and it was the money.  Apparently I had set the folded up money in the cup holder in the car (I didn't have any pockets that day) and then sat a drink cup on top of it.  The money had wedged itself into the groove of the bottom of the cup, and when I threw the cup into the garbage can, the money was attached to the underside bottom of it.  When I hit the cup with the shears, it came loose and I saw it.  Thank Heavens the dumpster was full so Wayne hadn't emptied the small garbage cans the day before and thankfully too, I did yard work and got tired.  I said a little thank you prayer for this one.
3.  Wayne got home from Spokane.  His plane ride was a bumpy one with the windy skies today.  I am always so happy when he comes home safely.
4.  Relief Society meeting was tonight.  It was a sharing of heritage night.  I was supposed to do a little spotlight but when I went to get into my car the battery was dead.  I called Susan and amazingly she was still at home even though it was only 5 minutes to the meeting time start.  We learned ideas for starting memories for own families and learned of bits of the heritage of others.  Some had brought quilts from ancestors, Sonia brought her grandfather's wooden arm, some brought blessing gowns, photos etc.  It was a sweet and touching hour.  More than a few tears were shed and it gave us all a pause to look back at where we had come from.  To top it all off, we had fruit tarts from Kneaders.
5.  I am sore but glad that I can move and work.  Although my body is aging and doesn't perform as long as it used to, I am thankful for it....and for Ibuprofen.
