1.  Wayne and I went on a road trip to Preston, Idaho today.  Once again, I sat in the car and read.  The weather was beautiful and I think we hit a record high somewhere in the mid 80's.  We had to turn on the car air conditioning for a while.  We had lunch in Logan.  We always try to find a place we haven't been yet.  This time we ate at the Beehive Brew Pub.  It is the only ROOT BEER brew pub in Utah and the food and service was really good.
2.  We stopped at the Pepperidge Farm cookie outlet again and once again we were too late to get the good ones.  They must go really fast.  We did get a couple of small bags to put in the freezer and a BIG bag of goldfish crackers.  I love that their products don't have artificial colors or flavors and have no preservatives.  If you buy the small bags in the store they are $3.69 but at the outlet they are $1.50.  Fozzie loves the goldfish crackers and since he is spoiled and gets a treat every time he goes potty, I quit buying real dog treats and he gets one goldfish cracker each time he goes.  He loves them and they are good for him and are also cheap.  We also stopped at the Grist Mill bakery and got some more wheat bread and pumpkin bread.  It smelled so good in the car the whole way home.
3.  Wayne mowed the lawn and it is starting to green up.  For some reason we have a lot of crab grass working it's way up to the surface this year.  We need to find something to stop that quickly.  We also need to fertilize but are waiting for our yard man.  I hope he shows up soon too.  The cherry tree and pear tree are blooming.  If we can keep the frost and birds away, maybe we will finally get cherries this year.
4.  I got a new pair of PJ's from Costco.  I have a hard time finding bottoms that are long enough in the legs.  I hope when these are washed that they don't shrink in length.  They are soft and comfy.  If they work out, I will go get some more.
5.  It's Spring break and kids are everywhere.  They are in the street, in yards and on the sidewalks.  It's fun to hear their voices. It makes it seem like summer especially with the hot weather.
