1. It was one of those days when you look out and think it is warm. You go out and it feels good for a few minutes but then the sun goes behind a cloud and it's cold and rainy so you bundle up and out comes the sun again. you are fickle Mother Nature.
2. Wayne worked in the yard during the warmer moments and got the yard lights moved. The box woods had grown around them and when they came on at night you could hardly see them. It was also tough for me to trim around them. He also fixed some sprinklers and filled the bird feeder.
3. I don't do yard work at 43 degrees. I stayed in the house and puttered. I read my book because I have book club next Wednesday and "House of the Seven Gables" not really a page turner so I make myself read a certain amount each day.
4. We had a late lunch at Shakey's Pizza. The salad bar was great and Wayne ordered the chicken just to see what it was like. (It tasted like Banquet) We had a pineapple/Canadian bacon and mushroom pizza which was very good. They gave us cinnamon rolls which we didn't like or eat because they were over cooked and didn't seem to go with pizza. It's a good place to go if you want to make your own salad.
5. We did a "pay per view" movie tonight. HUGO had gotten several academy awards and we both liked it. It made me think of another orphan movie which I love even better....Oliver. I am a musical junkie and the "Where is Love" song from Oliver always really gets me. I went to youtube and watched it, and once again, it made me cry. I hate that there has to be orphans.....ever.
