1. It was in the 60's today and I love the sunshine. I haven't had Spring fever but the sun sure made me happy. Fozzie must like it too because he stayed out a long time for his potty break. I saw some birds at my feeder and even some insects.
2. Susan and I went visiting to see Annie today, She is an amazing woman and such an example to me. Her #'s went up on her cancer screening which is not a good thing. She is hoping she has another year to live. She is a strong and beautiful person.
3. Margaret came over and we went to visit Ruth Burr. Margaret is taking a music writing class and wanted to brain storm with Ruth. We got to listen to the music she had written and arranged. Ruth is the most amazing woman. She had made dozens of quilts and afghans, she writes music, has done extensive family history and she and Wesley build miniature train towns and have written their family history and published it....a big book. She also gardens, plays the piano and interacts with her kids and grand kids in a big way. Margaret and I left her home feeling like slackers. Not even when I am 73 like her will I be able to accomplish so much. Margaret did end up taking a song Ruth wrote and may put some words to it.
4. Susan, Tricia, Laura and I went to lunch for Tricia's birthday. We were going to go to Olive Garden, then Tricia decided Culver's and at the last minute chose Cafe Rio, It was a good choice. We all had the Cafe Rio salad, It is always delicious. We laughed, solved the world's problems and listened to each other's concerns. I love those ladies.
5. We got my computer hooked up to the Internet without WIFI so at least I can do my blogs, pinterest, facebook, home town and scrapbook sites. I was going though a little withdrawal. I found some recipes I filed away and one day I may even cook them.
