Monday March 12th, 2012

1.  I woke up to check my email and the wi-fi wasn't working.  I spent a long time trying to diagnose the problem.  I checked the cables...they were plugged in and the switch was on.  I checked to see if my IP was working....it wasn't.  I tried IE and it wouldn't work either.  I tried restoring my computer to an earlier time thinking maybe I had a virus.  That didn't work. I checked the wi-fi box and it was not responding so I figured that was it....I need a new box.  When Wayne got home, he switched the transformer to another item to see if it was working.  It was not.  So, the problem was the transformer.  He figured it out in 10 minutes.  I had lost 4 hours of my day trying to figure it out.  Maybe it would have taken him longer had I not told him about all the things I had already tried.  (Or maybe not).  We went to get a new transformer at Best Buy.  They carry them in 3 places in the store and they were all out.  We went to Radio Shack and ended up getting the wrong one so Wayne took it back and got the one they said we needed.  He got home and it didn't work.  AAAAACCCKKKK!  I'm going to bed.
2.  This was just one of those days.  I got up and turned the faucet on and the sprayer was stuck so I got sprayed in the face with hot water.  It had done it yesterday and I thought I had it working.  A little while later, forgetting it was stuck, I got sprayed again.  We ended going to Lowe's for a replacement but they didn't have one so we went home without.  I will have to order it.  AAAAACCCKKK!
3.  We were going to have leftover chicken for dinner but since I had a buy one, get one coupon, we tried out Culver's.  It was pretty good.
4.  I had been working hard all day doing the laundry, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms,  dusting and sweeping and working to fix the computer.  I thought the house looked pretty good but then I looked at the baseboards.  They really need a cleaning but it didn't get done.  20 years ago I would have jumped in and done them.  I used to need everything perfect.  I finally grew out of that and I like things really nice but they don't have to be perfect.  I'll get around to them sooner or later.
5.  I watched the last segment of "The Bachelor".  They always pick the girl that I never would.  That is one marriage that won't work.  That woman is crazy and so is he for picking her.  Now I will go back to my HGTV every Monday night or the history channel to watch "Pickers".
