1. Wonderful sacrament meeting. Matthew Struthers returned from his mission and gave a talk on trials and played a piano solo that was just beautiful. He is mature, sweet and a good role model for the younger kids in the ward.
2. I went to choir practice and then realized I won't even be there to perform next Sunday. We are headed to a family reunion. Luckily Susan and Julie can carry it all by themselves.
3. Wayne made BBQ chicken for dinner. We were going to do burgers since it was so nice out but chicken was $1.19 a pound and burger was twice that. It actually felt like spring and that we will be BBQing a lot more in the next few weeks. Colett brought delicious baked beans and I made a salad. I also made no bake cookies for dessert, but instead of dropping them with a spoon, I shaped them into a big square like brownies and just cut them as per Colett's advise, It turned out great and was much easier to do.
4. We all watched the Amazing race and I wish I could just go everywhere in the world. I love to travel and see new things. I am afraid to travel too many places outside the US with the state of the political climate now. I also listened to Millie read her library book and got to see just how creative Millie and Isabelle are when they draw paper doll outfits.
5. We missed Amy and family tonight but we are glad they are able to get back in their house after so long and that they have heat now. I did miss that little E face coming to my bedroom so say "hi" first thing in the morning though.
