1.  We decided to do some thrift shopping while in Billings and went to the Rescue Mission and the Saint Vincent De Paul stores.  I found a few books to buy.  Then we headed downtown and I wandered through the Antique stores.  I loved looking but didn't find anything I just had to have.  They didn't have any hatpins.
2.  We ate a small  lunch at Wendy's so we could indulge at the fair tonight.  They have lemonade now that is pretty good.
3.  We drove around Billings trying to fine the Ashley furniture store because they had free discount coupons to get into the fair.  The implement store was supposed to have them to but was out.  Emerson did find a new fire truck to buy though.
4.  We went to Gainan's which is still my favorite floral and gift store.  We got Marjie some hostess gifts since this is the second time in two months that she has hosted us.  We got her salsa, tea towels, a vase, and some soap products.
5.  We gathered up Shon's kids and took them to the fair with us.  It was wristband night, so for $20 you could ride as much as you wanted.  And they did. We didn't get Toby one because he didn't think he would ride much, but we ended up spending more that that on his rides.  Lissie stuck pretty close to Grandma and Grandpa, I rode the Ferris wheel with the Utah grand kids, and Wayne and Lissie and I sat and listened to the bands play.  Joey rode with Isabelle on the graviton but Isabelle got sick and then when she couldn't find her Mom she was pretty upset.  They found us and she was in tears.  Colett was also in tears because she couldn't find Isabelle.  Thanks to our cell phones, we all found each other.  It would have been pretty traumatic without them..  What did we do before cell phones?  I called Marjie to go to bed because we wouldn't be home until midnight and it was after that before we finally got settled.
