1. We were up in the Big Horn Mountains and couldn't get to church so we sang a primary song and took in the blessings that God had given us in this most beautiful place. We drove to Boyd Ridge and looked into the canyons. We felt pretty insignificant doing that.
2. We went to the pond by the Ranger Station and saw several tiny ferrets amongst the rocks. Amy almost got one to eat our of her hand. They were adorable.
3. We cooked hot dogs in a fire pit and Emerson kept the fire going.
4. We walked in the mountains and found crevices that were very deep and very narrow. If you were not careful, it would be easy to get caught by stepping into one. apparently many years ago, that's exactly what happened to many buffalo. There have been buffalo skulls that have been found in them. The family threw rocks down them and then played on the large rock bluffs and we took pictures.
5. We stayed in the Elk Ridge Lodge...4 to a room. The hotel had a pool and hot tub, Foosball, air hockey and a pool table that the kids loved. The view out the window was beautiful and looked right into the forested area behind the hotel.
