1. I changed sheets downstairs, cleaned and dusted. Wayne had cleaned up the storage room and vacuumed. I did laundry and we are ready for more company.
2. Wayne got home from work a little early and we want out for dinner to Texas Road House. It was already very busy at 5:30 but we got right in. The salad is so good because they add boiled egg to it and tomatoes, which some restaurants have eliminated. I had the little Dallas steak. 99% of the time we eat there, it is perfect. Tonight they over cooked my steak. I like it VERY pink and it was barely pink, but the flavor was excellent. Wayne had portabello chicken and his was great.
3. Rob, Jem and kids got tickets for General Conference so they are coming to stay a couple of days with us. They can't leave until after Jem gets off work so they won't get here until midnight.
4. I watched "Who Do You Think You Are" tonight and just marvel at some of the stories. Rita Wilson (Tom Hank's wife) was the one looking for information about her father's life in Bulgaria. She found out he had been in a concentration camp and a prison and had a family that died before he married her mother and she never knew any of it. Her father's uncle, who is in his 90's, is still alive and they had a reunion. It was a touching story. I love how the historians can come up with papers and photos to document everything. It really changes lives of so many people.
5. The trees are blossoming out everywhere and are so beautiful but I sure have allergies. The pills don't seem to be helping. I just wipe my eyes all day long because they won't stop watering. It is constantly blowing so that doesn't help. The view is worth it though. The plum and pear trees are amazingly beautiful.
6. Ruth and I went visiting teaching. Nicole is doing well after her surgery even though it's a slow going process. Ruth was doing well today. She showed me the carnival rides they are making for their model train town. CUTE!! We didn't see Stephannie as she is busy getting ready for a major trip. We will catch her next month and get the update.
