1. I went to Grandparents Day at the school for Millie and Isabelle. It was fun to be with them and to draw, answer survey questions about me and eat a doughnut with them. Millie (7) and Isabelle (11) have such completely different personalities. We went in the gym to get the doughnut but because we weren't completely on the right side of the table, Millie would not take one. She took me by the hand and we had to go out in the hall, in the back of the line and start all over. She never said anything, but let me know that we don't break rules. She is so sweet and definitely a rule follower. Isabelle is bubbly, smart and one of the teacher's favorites. I am sure that if she had been in line, she would have taken the doughnut without blinking an eye. I love them both so much.
2. Amy, E, Colett and I went to the mall for a little Friends and family shopping at Gap. Colett got some jeans and an Easter dress for Isabelle. I got a sweater for $17 that was originally $60.
3. We lunched at the mall. I had a veggie sandwich at Mama Mia's again. It was very good. I knew Wayne would take me out for a date tonight so I didn't eat the bread, just the veggies and water. E ate a whole 6" Subway sandwich.
4. We found a new store called Cotton On I think. Colett got shoes for $5. I also went to Archivers and got a $4 pen for 88 cents, and then to Hobby Lobby and got some impression folders for my Big Shot cutter.
5. Wayne picked me up at Colett's so Amy and E could stay there longer. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I love their salad because it has chopped egg on it. We had the Dallas steaks again They can't be beat. They are rare and tender and seasoned perfectly. Colett had painted her whole basement a greenish mustard color. Man that girl has painted her heart out last month. She did her whole upstairs and downstairs by herself. Nick came home and anounced that he had made the track team in sprinting and long jumping.
