1. The fireworks at Highland were amazing. We were sitting right beneath them and at the end, it was so amazing that we all just laughed our of sheer joy.
2. Emerson got a glow stick that was supposed to be a bracelet but he left it open as just a stick. He spent the whole evening fighting unseen enemies and at different times it became a stick horse, a guitar, a wand, a sword and a drum stick. Oh the wonderful days of a child's imagination. It was so fun to watch.
3. I got a new blouse and max- dress. I went into the store never intending to buy anything. Amy was there to shop. She didn't find anything.
4. Big, big yummy salad and rolls.
5. Deadheaded the flowers, weeded the flower beds, picked the tomatoes, cukes and peppers, trimmed some bushes, and cleaned the house. Wayne mowed and trimmed the lawn, changed the car tires, killed bugs, and went and got the LP tank to the BBQ filled. It was a productive day.
