Sunday August 8th marked the day 41 years ago that I married my sweetheart. As the day crept up on us, we talked about how we felt, what we were doing those moments leading up to the wedding, how young and naive we were about things and how in some ways it doesn't seem so long ago and yet in other ways it seems like it has been forever. It does seem like times passes too quickly now. We have changed a lot in looks, in our ability to be more patient. Our love has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. I love being with my husband. I love going places with him and doing things with him. We say all the time that we make a great team, and it's true. We like the same foods, the same music, the same landscapes, and have the same ideals. We have our differences (we won't go into those here) just suffice it to say I am always right. I love to look at him sometimes when he is not looking, and my heart swells with love. I feel so fortunate to have found my soul mate. Snapping this picture, I felt my heart skip a beat still. Although nobody frustrates me as much as he does at times, nobody fills my heart with as much joy either.
