A few months ago, Colett had a booth at the Beehive Bazaar and gave my granddaughter Isabelle a little space at the table to sell her crafts. Colett had found some old lamp shades and Isabelle got busy making these darling mobiles. She took so much time and put in so much effort making them. She had to tear off the fabric, scrub the metal, paint it, then cut out all the shapes and tie on ribbons and buttons. When I repainted my craft room last month, I hung it above my desk. Now I think of her every time I sit there. I had to pay full price of $10 because she wouldn't even give me the family discount. What a talented little artist and good business woman. She is such a joy. Enlarge this to see detail better.

Grand-daughter like Grandmother. The mobile is special. How fun to recycle things into art - and very cute art.
