When I was a little girl, I read all the time and fanciful books were my friends. I loved fairy tales, Mary Poppins, and Nancy Drew. The one story that I just couldn't cope with though, was the princess who kissed a frog. If finding a prince meant having to kiss a frog, I would be single forever. It made me want to vomit....literally. I don't remember if I had a bad dream about frogs or not, but for some reason, I HATED the thought of kissing a frog and for 40 years I have not even liked frogs. They pretty much disgusted me and It has only been the last few years that I have been able to look at and appreciate them. Slowly, I have been able to think that they might even be cute in an odd sort of way, but I still don't want to touch one. Animal lover that I am, this is still just one creation that I would just as soon stayed in the garden.

What about that huge toad Wes and I found in your driveway shortly after you moved into your house?! That thing was AWESOME! I would have no problem kissing a frog!

Funny! I have things from my childhood that still nauseate me to this day, but it's usually associated with something I ate while I was sick. But I have to say...I don't think I'd ever want to kiss a frog either.

I don't mind frogs, snakes or lizards...as long as they're free of poison !

It's things with eight legs that give me the creeps !!!
