I know today is the first day of Spring but my Spring started a couple of weeks ago when my pussy willow burst into it's glory. I LOVE the little toes all over the branches. My bush is from a start I got from Mom and Dad a few years ago. The bush is now about 15 feet tall. I look forward to seeing them emerge every year. I love to look at them, touch them, cut them and bring them in and I have several bouquets of them throughout the house. They keep me happy until the other flowers are ready to cut. What a great time of year!
This is my Christmas cactus. Someone forgot to tell it that it's Spring and that blooming time is over. It has new buds on it and I will probably have blooms until April. I need to figure out the macro setting on my camera so I can get clearer shots. I can't find my book for the camera and none of regular settings will let me get close up shots. I even tried the portrait setting but it didn't work. Oh well, at least I can capture it for now. Maybe by the time the last blossom is out I will have found my instruction book.

We have a Christmas Cactus that bloomed when it was supposed to and we nearly lost it in January when an unexpected hard freeze came calling...You are lucky to get another blooming out of yours...so pretty !
