Ewoks are teddy bear-like creatures that appeared in the Star Wars movies.

I happen to be the owner of a red toy poodle/EWOK. During the holidays he was pretty much ignored in the grooming department. His face got so fluffy that he could hardly see. The girls loved it that way (and it WAS pretty cute) but his coat was also long and proceeded to get lots of mats. He was starting to itch and I knew I had to break down and give him a haircut. It took several hours to do. Because of the curls, I had to do it with a comb and scissors.

He is really good about sitting there and enduring his cut, but it took so long this time that we had to stop half way through and give him a break and a treat.

The pile of hair was bigger than the actual dog. He always feels so frisky after a haircut and acts like a little puppy again.

This is how he looks most of the time but I do miss that little Ewok face.
