1.  Kee is home but got sick while she was away teaching.  She can hardly talk and breathe and went to bed and stayed there most of the day.  She did not eat and cannot do anything because she has no energy.  It sounds like she may have walking pneumonia.
2.  Wayne and I went to the Utley's for our gourmet dinner club.  It was one of the best we have had.  Utley's made chicken cordon bleu, I made an upside down caramel apple cake with caramel sauce, Lori made sheepherder's bread, Ahlstrom's brought a salad, Laura T. made seasoned fresh green beans and Paul made cheesy mashed potatoes.  It doesn't get much better than that.  Next month is at the Turner's.
3.  Alex spent most of the day at the Bennett's and ate there.  He says he feels very close to their family and Lyndzi feels like a little sister to him.
4.  We ran to the city sewer to get compost for the yard but for some reason there was a line from the sewer, out the dirt road and down the highway.  It would take forever and lots of gas to idle for so long.  We ended up at a landscape company and got the same thing for only about a dollar more.  We spent a few hours in the yard spreading it around.  We didn't have enough enough so we will have to go get another load next week.
5.  I got the recipe for the apple cake from Pinterest and did just as it said except I used grape juice in the place of the apple juice because after going to the store, I realized I forgotten to get some.  I did get a new 9" cake pan that was 2" deep and lined the bottom with no stick tin foil and greased and floured the sides so it didn't stick.  I always worry about that.  I will post photos on my other blog.
