1.  The choir sang today in sacrament meeting.  It is the first time since spring and we did OK but there is definitely room for improvement.
2.  I loved the talks today and learning to feel and use the Holy Ghost in our lives.  I am going to try to be more available for whisperings and meditate a little more.
3.  My brother Jon and SIL Linda came tonight and will stay for several days.  Linda had to lay on a mattress the whole 10 hours because her back is so bad.  She has scoliosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, degenerated discs and fibromyalgia so has migraines too.  She is here to see a doctor that was recommended to her to see if she can get some relief.
4,  The daughters and families came to dinner.  Matt made taco soup and then we all carved our pumpkins.  We always tease Wayne that he just cuts a couple of slits and scoops out the guts.  His pumpkins usually  don't have much personality, but tonight he carved a mouth in the vertical end of it and it looked like a piranha.  It was great!!  Our pumpkins this year were easy to gut and that made it even better.
5.  I saved the seeds and baked them  I usually salt and bake them until dry, but this time I cooked them until they were almost brown and they were so much better,  Instead of having to crack them open and eat the seeds out, you can eat the whole thing.
