1.  I went to Institute and we discussed the general conference talks.  It was informative, delightful
and spiritually uplifting.  We have wonderful men and women at the helm of the church.
2.  Julie A. decided at the spur of the moment to have a luncheon for Becky S's birthday.  Susan W., Julie, Becky and I got together and had fruit salad, green salad, egg salad sandwiches and cookies and just visited.  It was relaxing and fun and so indicative of Julie's generous nature.  That's why I call her the cruise director.  She is a go-getter and always thinking of others.  I want to be like her.
3.  I had chorus tonight and we finally have all the songs pinned down that we will be performing. Now we can just practice those and not waste time on the others.  It was fun.  Our director told us about his health problems and how he had viral meningitis that crippled him for 5 years.  He is lucky to be alive.  He still has some peripheral problems that manifest themselves now and then.  I will pray her his health and well being.  He has also been without a job for a year so stress makes things worse for him. You think you have problems now and then, but you can look around and feel truly blessed to have your own.
4.  My friend Kay came over and we had a little visit and she brought a loaf of her fresh homemade bread.  Now, I will open my door any time she ends up making too much.  It was delicious and Colett stopped by and had some.  She said ti was as god as dessert.  Some day in the future, I will try to make some bread, but I don't want to commit or set a deadline.  I may need to visit one of my friends who make it so well, and many of them do.  Susan W., Becky, Yolanda, and Kay have it down pat.
5. Amy has started a new business and is having a party tonight to introduce it.  She is stressed but totally committed to making it work.  Fingers are crossed for her.  It is doTerra essential oils.   doTERRA Essential Oils - Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade | doTERRA
