1. It's cooler tday but I still love it. The leaves have fallen from a lot of trees but not mine yet. My maple tree is not even red yet. It's just starting to turn. The other flowers are still in bloom but the tender plants did get frosted and are turning brown.
2. Ruth and I went visiting teaching to Nicole and Stephannie. They are amazing women and I can learn lessons from both of them. They also both decorate for Halloween so it was fun to see their decorations. Stephannie's dog also sat with me and gave me hugs while we were there. She is so cute and spoiled. I love it.
3. I made stuffed green peppers and had fresh tomatoes for dinner. We are still getting some ripe ones, but decided to cover them for the next couple of nights as it is supposed to freeze. I am also eating a couple of pears a day. They are the best I can remember. Emerson picked the last one yesterday.
4. Wayne and I went to the movie "Captain America" at the $3.00 theatre. With the ticket price and the cheap treats, the whole date only cost $10.00. It will be $8.00 next time because we will get the small drink and popcorn. What a change from the regular theatre where popcorn and a pop are $15.00. We may wait until the movies we like go to that theatre from now on. It doesn't take long for a movie to go from regular theatre to the $3 theatre and then to DVD.
5. Colett invited us for Taco soup and carving pumpkins on Sunday night. It is our tradition. We also have my brother and his wife and mother-in-law coming on Sunday and staying for 5 days while she tries to get help for her back pain. I pray it works. She is so much pain and misery. I don't even know how she is going to make it here. She has a bed in the van but 10 hours is a long trip. I am glad we can be here for them.
