1.  I watched the Tabernacle Choir presentation commemoration for 9-11.  They were amazing and Tom Brokaw did the narration with them.  It was touching but not too sad.
2.  Jared Cook gave an amazing talk at church. He talked of making and keeping covenants.
3.  The Sunday School lesson was based on the Corinthians chapters in the New Testament.  Josh Becker barely made it bake in time to teach as he had been at a family reunion but his lesson was amazing.  He talked about being prepared and how he had been taught as a young man to not get into debt.  He was able to get through the recession as a construction developer without losing their home and was able to keep his worldly possessions.
4.  The Sunday School lesson was on Family History.  We had a film and then Amiel Lousieau gave a talk on doing it. The music and spirit in the room was wonderful.
5.  We had Emerson's birthday party and dinner tonight.  We decorated with balloons and streamers. Amy made taco soup and lemonade.  Colett brought chips and queso dip and Amy made brownie cups filled with ice cream.  Wes' sister and family and his Mom Roxanne came and Roxanne brought a salad and dressing that was the copycat of Cafe Rio's salad.  Emerson got a fish game and ball from the Yarro's, clothes, book,
art supplies from Grandma Roxy and Haley and family.  The kids hit a pinata until the candy fell out and then we blew out the candles.  It was a good party and Emerson was a model 4 year old.  It was a little different than his 2nd birthday party where he had a meltdown.  I love get togethers.
