1.  I was thinking of our veterans today and I am so appreciative of them all. I have 2 brothers who served in Bosnia or Afghanistan ( and know of the hardships they went through) , I also thought of my uncles and cousins who served in WW11 and Viet Nam.  Bless them all and thank you for your service.  I was also thinking of family members that have passed and although I couldn't be at the cemeteries to place flowers, they were in my heart.
2.  Even with the same old, same old, cool and yukky weather, Wayne got the lawn mowed, trimmed and edged.  I got some more plants in and the whole house cleaned and laundry done.  It was a labor day for sure.
3.  I am so glad we have a Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, Walmart. Smith's and eateries so close to home.  When we first moved here we had to drive to Draper or Orem for everything. What a difference 8 years makes.
4.  I love that I have hobbies and have been given the talents and the time to do them.  I craft, garden, read, clean, use technology and am devoted to music..singing, playing the piano and a tiny bit of guitar, and of being able to sit and listen to music that enriches my soul.
5.  Long distance phone service and talking to my Mom today.  What would I do if I couldn't keep in touch and hear her voice?
