Bread

My neighbor Nancy brought us over a perfectly baked baguette. It was chewy and crusty on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. I am a little jealous of her skill and her new pan, but joyful that I got to indulge in her new passion. Thank you Nancy!!!!!

Oh yum! I love that kind of bread. My bread baking skills are non-existant.

I make all my bread on the dough setting in my breadmaker. I bought very nice bagette pans and all I have to do after the bread machine is done, is to knead the dough a little, shape it into loaves, let it rise again, covered in the pan and then pop it in the oven. It is so easy...no need to have skills to do it all...just follow directions on whatever recipe you use. The breadmaker does all the work !
