One of my greatest joys these days is seeing my daughters create. Both are gifted artists and crafters. When they were tiny girls they used to draw on everything (including the walls at times) but as they got older sports seemed to take over their creative side, Colett in track and Amy in golf. I never could get my son to do much in art although I really think it is in him too.
As the girls got older their artistic instincts kicked in again in a big way. Colett is a painter and has her paintings hanging in several boutiques and restaurants and bazaars. Amy has had her stuff in bazaars, and has used her artistic eye in dressing mannequins and creating window displays for Nordstrom's and now for the store Lucille Elaine's. It makes a mother's heart so proud. They really are a chip off the old block after all. Check out their blogs.
