Bubbles

I am like a kid where blowing bubbles is concerned. I love to blow them and to watch others blow them too. One 4th of July, we had a party with lots of bubbles and wands for the kids. The menfolk ended up making giant bubble blowing wands out of coat hangers, and as you can imagine, the men had more fun than anyone else. According to the Martha Stewart site, the best bubble solution is 10 cups water to 4 cups dish-washing liquid, plus 1 cup Karo corn syrup. I have never heard the Karo syrup part before but it is cheaper than glycerin so I am going to give it a try. I will scale down the ingredients to:

2 1/2 c. water
1 c. dish-washing liquid
1/4 c. Karo

which will still give me 3 3/4 c. of the solution to play with. You make some too and send me pictures of your bubbles when you blow them.
